PFi is the UK’s largest outdoor karting circuit and caters for many different karting events.
The UK’s Premier Circuit provides track time for Rental and Owner Drivers.
The circuit is open every day of the week, as well as weekends when there is not an MSA Race Meeting taking place at the circuit.
HISTORY OF PFI
PF International kart circuit was first opened in 1994 and was, and still is, the brain-child of Mr Paul Fletcher. The circuit is located in the village of Brandon, close to Grantham, in the lovely Lincolnshire countryside.
Over the years, PFi has developed and grown and is now recognised as the UK’s premier Karting facility.
During 2011, PFi saw perhaps it’s largest transformation to date – a track extension that incorporates a bridge with flyover!
This sensational new feature has increased the overall track length to 1382m and helped the circuit to secure it’s International ‘A’ grade track licence – the only short circuit kart track in the UK to achieve this level.
Attaining this grade of track licence has firmly placed PFi on the Global Karting scene and has helped to secure several CIK-FIA kart race events to date.

If you’re a motorsport fan then there is nowhere better way to watch the sport than to spectate at a karting event. Join us on the third Sunday of every month where you’ll see fast, exciting, wheel to wheel racing from the UK’s top up and coming drivers.
Many of today’s motor sport greats started their careers racing karts. Scotland’s last F1 test driver, Paul di Resta and multiple Le Mans winner, Allan McNish are club members and former WSKC champions. David Coulthard, Dario Franchitti, Marino Franchitti, and Ryan Dalziel were all members, club champions and raced at our track as did the late, great Colin McRae. More recently Dexter Paterson became World Junior CIK-FIA Champion, Angus Moulsdale became Junior X30 European Champion and Lewis Gilbert became Motorsport UK National Minimax Champion.

Kimbolton Airfield was the home of the 379th Bomb Group during WW2. The 379th Bomb Group flew B-17s and the group was signified by the letter K within a triangle on its tail. During all of its 330 bombing missions, it dropped 26,640 tons of bombs, shot down 315 enemy aircraft and lost 141 of its B-17s to enemy action.
The 379th Bomb Group was the only unit ever awarded the 8th Air Force Grand Slam, a very unique honour in recognition of its achievements. They also received two Presidential Unit Citations. The Group flew its last combat mission on April 25, 1945 and was finally deactivated on July 25, 1945.
The airfield at Kimbolton was originally a fighter base for the RAF. When it became evident Germany was not going to invade England, the RAF decided it didn’t need many inland fighter bases and was happy to lease most of them to the United States as airfields for heavy bombers.

From a small enthusiastic group of volunteers who created the circuit in 1963 in a disused quarry, the club and circuit has grown into the fantastic facility it is today. Even today, the circuit is still run by a small enthusiastic group of volunteers who continue to strive to make the circuit one of the best in the UK which is constantly voted for by the drivers and competitors who make long journeys to visit us.
The Club continues to run the Lets go Karting Scheme, where you can come along to the circuit and have a go on a race kart, with full tuition and safety equipment (further details elsewhere on the CKRC website). CKRC pioneered the “Racing For Buttons” program, our search for a young driver to become the next Formula 1 sensation, and this was taken up by the Motorsport UK, who introduced the Lets go Karting Scheme to encourage more people into the sport. With the current success of ex-karting sensations such as David Coulthard, Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton and Paul DiResta, all of whom started their careers in karting and, indeed, visited Rowrah on many occasions during their karting career, karting is becoming more and more popular so why not visit us and see if the karting bug bites? The 2016 season saw the opening of our new Lets Go Karting Training and Education Centre – this purpose built building is now complete and will provides a base for newcomers to our sport to gain experience and education.
